Goose Watch Awarded Four Golds & Two “Best of Class” at Pacific Rim

Romulus, NY  ̶  April 28, 2015 ̶ Goose Watch Winery is thrilled to announce that two of its wines were awarded “Best of Class” in their categories at last week’s Pacific Rim wine competition in California. The winery won a total of nine medals including four golds, three silver and two bronze.


Pacific-Rim-logo-pngThe “Best of Class” and two of the gold medal winners were the 2013 Pinot Grigio and 2013 Cabernet Franc Ice wine making this the fourth gold and higher honors for each wine. The two additional gold medals were the 2013 Diamond, and the 2012 Merlot, which was the only Finger Lakes red vinifera to win a gold medal at the Pacific Rim.


Other medalists for Goose Watch include silvers for the 2012 Lemberger, 2012 Merlot Reserve, and 2013 Finale White Port; and bronze medals to the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve.


Goose Watch Winery, owned by the Peterson Family, is located on Route 89 in Romulus, NY with a scenic tasting room overlooking Cayuga Lake. The tasting room is open year round with winter hours in effect until April and features an impressive variety of innovative Finger Lakes wines.
