We specialize in premium wines uncommon to the Finger Lakes region, with a selection unlike anywhere else. What makes our wines so unique? A combination of tradition and innovation occurs each year as our winemakers combine wine making practices handed down by generations with more modern techniques and equipment, always adapting to the vintage at hand.

Our exciting wines are produced from classic European grape varieties such as Pinot Grigio, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon as well as unique and lessor known European varietals such as Viognier, Lemberger and Zweigelt. With Cornell University just down the lake from us, we also produce wines from some of their newly developed grape varieties such as our Dry Traminette, Melody, Aromella and Noiret.

Or, if you would like to taste a bit of Finger Lakes wine history dating back to the mid 1800’s, try our Diamond and Isabella wines, which were grapes that helped launch the region’s wine industry. Add to that a wine list that ranges from dry to sweet, and you’re sure to find some new favorites when you visit.

Goose Watch Winery’s relaxed atmosphere comes from its beautiful grounds and comfortable tasting room with a deck that overlooks Cayuga Lake. Here you can savor a tasting flight, glass or bottle of wine while you admire one of the best views of the lake. Open all year round, Goose Watch is the perfect place to watch as the seasons change in central New York.

As a bonus, Goose Watch shares its property with a sister brewery, Lake House Brewing, which is open Friday – Sunday from late May – October and serves up some stellar craft beers. And for our Cayuga Lake friends, don’t forget we have a boat dock! We welcome you to visit us by boat all summer long.
